About Nippers

Philosophy

Peregian Beach Nippers is the Junior Activities arm of Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club. In keeping with all other Surf Clubs and the philosophy of SLSA, the main aim of Nippers is to provide a funfilled program of surf education for community surf safety and the development of future lifesavers for the club.

Registration

Nippers is for children from 5 years to 13 years old. The Peregian Nippers program runs from September till March each year and attracts over 160 nipper members. Registration (sign-on) is held in August however children may sign-on at any time during the season simply by turning up on a Sunday morning between 8am and 10.30am. 

Management

Peregian Beach Junior Activities is managed by a Junior Activities Committee under the guidance of the Main Club. They are all volunteers and mostly parents of the children in Nippers.
