Proficiencies

Proficiencies for the 2009/2010 at Peregian are almost done. If you still need to attend a proficiency but have missed out on a booking date, you will need to do the following:

1. Contact administration so we know you want to attend a proficiency;

2. Download a pool swim form and get a qualified coach to sign you off;

3. Complete a proficiency workbook - you will need to refer to your Blue book (Surf Lifesaving Training Manual) and the following documents: Proficiency question sheet; LS0011 First Aid Equipment; LS0016 Radio Procedures; LS0020 Dangerous Marine Creatures; ARC Guideline Jellyfish Envenomation.

4. Take your completed proficiency workbook with you to your proficiency (this will apply no matter which club you attend). You will also have to take your signed pool swim form with you and forms for your assessor to sign relating to each of the awards you need to be assessed on. These forms are available from Peregian administration.
